About

Coldstart makes one thing: a working toaster in the shape of the machine you actually ride.

The idea is not complicated. People who own a bike or a car keep the love for it in the garage, and what makes it into the house is a keyring and a mug. We thought the object itself should get to live on the counter.

So the body is cast metal, the pipes are chrome, the lever is steel and clicks the way an old toaster clicks. Bread drops into the tank and the seat. It browns toast on a dial like any other toaster, and it looks like nothing else in the kitchen.

Why we do not sell a wait

This category is full of pictures of machines that do not exist. Beautiful renders, sixty-day waits, and comment sections full of people asking whether any of it is real. We are not interested in that argument. Our answer is boring on purpose: the thing has a weight, a plug and a box, and it leaves the warehouse within 48 hours of your order, tracked, wherever you are.

What is coming

Sixteen shapes now, motorcycles and cars. The next casting run is picked from what people ask for in the comments — that is genuinely how the list grows.
